Her hypothesis for the gap is that many Japanese do not think what they study at school will be helpful for their future. In the new course of study, Monbukagakusho wants to make community and school closer. Ayano thinks that CBI can increase students&#8217; motivation to study at school.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Possible Research Question:\u00a0<\/strong>Is the content related to students&#8217; motivation to study English?<\/p>\n<p>She wants to focus on Super Science High School and she has two choices 1) Doing questionnaire research or 2) Doing a case study.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><strong>Teddy<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\"><strong>Topic:\u00a0<\/strong>The relation between testing and student motivation.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\"><strong>Background:\u00a0<\/strong>Read about a way tests can be used to motivate students. The test is given first and then the class is conducted and students have a goal.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\"><strong>Possibile investigations:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: left\">Eiken vs. Textbooks vs. Jitsuryoku test<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left\">Eiken vs. TOEFL<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><strong>Wanda<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\"><strong>Topic:\u00a0<\/strong>Comparing methods for learning vocabulary: Storytelling &amp; Diary method<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Go over the
