He thought that the relationship between students and teachers were very close. He thought the teacher was not only a teacher but also a friend. \u00a0He will go on 6\/3, 6\/10, 6\/17, 7\/1, 7\/8.<\/p>\n<p>He is interested in comparing the textbook he uses in Indonesia with the hi, Friends! He can compare the content, the language, the curriculum, etc.<\/p>\n<div><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-210\" src=\"https:\/\/jameslab.edublogs.org\/files\/2016\/06\/IMG_5272-2auf5u3-300x224.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_5272\" width=\"300\" height=\"224\" \/><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><strong>Penelope <\/strong><\/div>\n<div>First, we talked about <a href=\"https:\/\/jameslab.edublogs.org\/files\/2016\/06\/MICROSKILLS_AND_MACROSKILLS_OF_FOUR_LANGUAGE_SKILLS-1b8z94w.docx\" rel=\"\">Macroskills and Microskills of Speaking<\/a>. Next, we learned about the <a href=\"http:\/\/www1.iwate-ed.jp\/tantou\/kyouka\/seika\/g_up_sheet\/index.html\">\u5ca9\u624b\u30b9\u30bf\u30f3\u30c0\u30fc\u30c9<\/a> and realized that it does not address speaking strategies.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Then, we discussed a new topic for Penelope, this is the tentative idea:<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><b>Topic: <\/b>Teaching speaking strategies.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><strong>Content:\u00a0<\/strong>1) Different types of speaking strategies; 2) how to teach strategies; 3) do a class where she introduces speaking strategies: 4) record and analyze student talk to see if they use these strategies.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><strong>Next time<\/strong> Penelope will read a chapter about learning strategies and tell us about them.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><strong>Cinderella<\/strong><\/div>\n<div>He has thought about a title.<\/div>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>First Proposal:\u00a0<\/strong>Action research in diary writing: teaching of writing and understanding of students in diary writing<\/li>\n<li><strong>Second: <\/strong>Investigating the Possible Benefits\u00a0of\u00a0English Diary Writing in JHS<\/li>\n<li><strong>Third:\u00a0<\/strong>Using diary writing in JHS as a means to understand students and improve their skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Maybe he will choose number 3.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Rocky<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>She read part of &#8220;Learning English ASEAN: Myths and Principles&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>At first, she thought that to teach English as soon as possible was the best way but the paper said that to teach English when students are a young age is not necessarily good.<\/p>\n<p>So far, she has learned the following:<\/p>\n<p>1) English is not pure.
