{"id":4138,"date":"2026-11-04T17:37:07","date_gmt":"2026-11-04T08:37:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/logos.edu.iwate-u.ac.jp\/jhoffice\/?p=4138"},"modified":"2026-11-06T13:52:24","modified_gmt":"2026-11-06T04:52:24","slug":"dragon-meeting-on-11-4","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/logos.edu.iwate-u.ac.jp\/jhoffice\/dragon-meeting-on-11-4\/","title":{"rendered":"Dragon Meeting on 11\/4"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ai&#8217;s Soft CLIL Lesson<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">I have some questions about it:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"has-medium-font-size\">Why is this lesson a CLIL lesson?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-medium-font-size\">How can you answer your research questions with the questionnaire?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-medium-font-size\">Do you plan on using more English in the lesson?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Easier version of the text written at the B2 level:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Today, an increasing number of people interact with generative AI as if it<br>were a close friend. AI listens patiently without judgment, providing emotional<br>comfort to those who feel lonely.<br>However, Jacob Coxon, a former top AI researcher at Anthropic and<br>OpenAI, recently warned that developing self-improving superintelligence<br>without safety controls could pose catastrophic risks to humanity.<br>Furthermore, communication scholars emphasize that real friendship requires<br>mutual empathy and shared feelings. Because AI merely calculates words<br>through algorithms to please users, this connection may only be a<br>communication illusion.<br>Can a technology without a heart truly replace human friends?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Kazu&#8217;s Lesson<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Overall, it was very interesting! Please consider the following when planning the lesson.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"has-medium-font-size\">If the teacher expects the students to use English, the teacher must also use English.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-medium-font-size\">Can you demonstrate the activity first, perhaps with different cards, before you have students do it?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-medium-font-size\">Students might not understand that they need to negotiate about the activities and that they should not easily agree to do something they do not like.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-medium-font-size\">A time limit for speaking would be helpful.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<iframe
