ESL\u00a0\u00a0 Nao-chan<\/p>\n

The book is handling with how children acquire their language.<\/p>\n

Early learning language is similar to Japanese 1st year students’ learning.<\/p>\n

ex) when the teacher ask students, they answer it with one word.<\/p>\n

Early child often use “me” instead of\u00a0 “I”. They would say “me go.” in two words stage.<\/p>\n

Taking mistakes, they get language skills better and better.<\/p>\n

Students learn some English and useful expressions through teachers’ talk.<\/p>\n

However, they need to study by themselves.<\/p>\n

Suggestions as possible options\u00a0 by Mr. Hall<\/p>\n

  1. He can give some kind of language tests to JHS students. ” what is difficult for them?”<\/li>\n
  2. He can have a lesson which teach word order, and think about pros and cons.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Nao-chan is interested in No.1.<\/p>\n

    \u5371\u3046\u3057\uff01\u5c0f\u5b66\u6821\u82f1\u8a9e\u3000Momo-chan<\/p>\n

    She got a question why students learn Kanji in English class.<\/p>\n

    Many parents want their children learn English earlier and they tend to make\u00a0 them\u00a0 go to English conversation schools. However, is dangerous because they have not had foundation skills of Japanese yet.<\/p>\n

    If they start learning English earlier, they will not use English in the future, because they would get some problems. They can listen and speak English but they cannot read and write if they learn English in elementary school.<\/p>\n
