Her tests were only measuring what she learned in the class.<\/p>\n<p>An example is students understanding a passage because they know the translation. She wants to rethink how to do a achievement test (end-of-term-test).<\/p>\n<p>Hypothesis: Even students who are not good at English can score well on the Hiyoppi test.<\/p>\n<p>She wants to do two experiments:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Questionnaire: About the tests they took, how they tended to score on the tests. Strategies students used to score well on the test.<\/li>\n<li>Have students take the Hiyoppi test. In one test, they are exposed the the grammar items. With the other one, they are not.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>For next week, Hiyoppi will design a test.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Yukiya: <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Research question:<\/p>\n<p>What areas of intercultural communicative competence are developed in a web conversation between Japanese students and Nepalese students.<\/p>\n<p>Next time: Categorize
