One idea for research:

What kind of errors are university students prone to make with (passive voice, verb tense, etc.)? What are the reasons for this?

More examples of errors:

  • A: Have you finished yet?
  • B: Yet. (Not yet)
  • Your new girlfriend is really smart. (Should be slim)
  • Mr. Sato gets a lot of claims (complaints), because he is often rude to customers.
  • We are living (live) in the 21st century.
  • I have to go home from now.
  • I called my father at 9PM but he was (still) working yet.
