Second, Cinderella talked about his action research. His idea is to have students write a diary every few days and assess their writing on fluency, accuracy, grammatical complexity, and lexical complexity. He decided how he would measure these.
The problem is that Cinderella has to set a time limit and he wants to see how much students can write in a limited time. He has to decide how long the limited time should be.
What will you investigate?
- Will diary writing improve students’ writing skills. If so, which ones will they improve?
- What kind of topics will students write about? What will these topics reveal about the students to the teacher?
