Making a Plan with Tamotsu

  • Finalize research questions
    1. Will students who take the TPPT lessons show improvement in accuracy, fluency, and content?
    2. What are students’ attitudes towards assessment/communication in a TPPT lesson?
  • Plan for the unit (3/7)
  • Design Tasks 1, 2, 2+ and Lesson flow: TPPT or TPPTT (3/7)
    • Task 1
    • Task 2 (similar or “+ alpha”)
  • Develop Pre and post test (Speaking/interaction) (3/7)
    • Develop rubric (3/7?)
  • Questionnaires about the class, self evaluation
    • Reflection
    • End of unit questionnaire
  • Willingness to communicate (?)

Start in Middle of May for two Weeks

  • Go to K JHS in April.
  • Pre-test: May 7
  • Two weeks between May 12 and May 30.
  • Post-test: June 5 or 6?
