    • What can we conclude about the similarities and differences between the countries.

  1. Give an overview of each country’s education system.
  2. Find curricula or education materials for the countries

Superwoman: The relationship between pronunciation and anxiety

Research questions

  1. What are the differences between students who try to use standard English pronunciation and those who speak with a Japanese accent?
    • Potential differences: Background, motivation, identity
  2. Should teachers aim for intelligible English or native-like English?

To answer question number 1, she can give questionnaires to students.

By the 19th, decide what the differences are and HOW to evaluate pronunciation.

Title: Using English diaries in JHS as a means to understand students and improve their writing skills

Research questions

  1. In what way can teachers get to know their students through English diaries?
  2. Will writing diaries improve students’ writing fluency, accuracy, or complexity?
