- Option 3: Compare chants in Hi, Friends to other textbooks such as Carolyn Graham, Genki English

Possible Outline
1) Read literature on how songs are used and how they encourage English learning
2) Make a typology of purposes for using music, kinds of activities
3) Analysis, action:
- Design various activities using songs to use for JHS. Each song should demonstrates the purpose or kind of activity you discussed in (2)
- Test the songs on university students and discuss the results.
