Some observations
I also thought there was a connection between self-esteem and foreign language anxiety, so I was surprised when the presentation showed there wasn’t. Also, like someone mentioned before, I’m really curious about how the results would change if the participants were only students majoring in English or related fields.
わたし自身、FLAを感じることが多々あるのでどのような結果が出るのか非常に気になりました。先日話題にあがったと思いますが、英語を専攻していない人は他の分野で自分に誇りを持っていて自尊感情が高かったりするかもしれないので、対象者を分けて考えてみても良いのではないかと思いました。
I thought that self-esteem might rise or fall depending on which subjects I like and which I don’t like. If I like a subject, I can solve many question, but if I am not good at a subject, I can’t understand it, so I lose confidence in my studies. As Ishimoda said, if you divided the target by major, I think you’ll be able to see the results.
I was also very interested in the relationship between foreign language anxiety and self-esteem. The data and the analysis were very clear and easy to understand. I was surprised that there was no correlation. I am looking forward to seeing the reason in the future work.
私自身このタイトルをみたとき、これら2つには相関関係があるだろうと思っていたが、実際の調査では相関関係がないという結果であったため驚いた。
信頼性が高いかどうかということも数値を持って提示していたため、なぜ相関関係がないという結果が出たのかという理由が気になった。
第二言語不安と自尊感情に関連性がなかったことに驚いた。調査対象をしぼるとどのような結果になるか気になった（例：英語サブコースのみ）
